  12. I used to be able to select NTSC screenmodes in the prefs editor, but 
  13. since I installed a more recent version of SetPatch they are no longer 
  14. available and my Workbench screen displays as PAL.

  16. I am using OS 2.04, the Philips CM8833II monitor which can display at 
  17. NTSC and PAL rates correctly, and SetPatch 40.something. This problem 
  18. also occurred with the last 37.x SetPatch I had.

  20. The command `addmonitor 1 ntsc.monitor' is in my startup-sequence alright 
  21. (this is the same as the contents of the "NTSC" script in the Monitors 
  22. drawer), so the NTSC screenmodes available. But when I run SetPatch to get a 
  23. patch list it says something like `Fixed monitor database unpacking from 
  24. ROM' which I guess must have something to do with it.

  26. Any ideas? This is irritating, because PAL interlace flickers horribly 
  27. and NTSC interlace is much better (to my eyes, anyway).
